Calamari and chips by Anthony Sargeant

The simplest of meals cooked by Tony and Eileen a few weeks ago. Calamari and chips (french fries if you are from the US) with a green salad. No magic to it at all – just fresh squid and good potatoes double fried and bashed to shake off the oil when taken out of the pan to keep them crisp: some dips and a glass of wine make the meal complete.
